Sascha's Day Out!

So, because we are completely lack dog owners, this was Sascha's first time to go to Prospect Park during off-leash hours. Since they end at 9am, it is a little hard for me to get inspired to be leaving the house that early. However, now that I have seen the indescribable doggy pandemonium, we will have to go back often. Since I just don't have the words to describe this, Doug made a video:



It looks like Sascha is dancing there at the end! As fun as this video is, it still doesn't capture the sheer expanse of dogs there were. I swear the whole borough's population of dogs were out there running around. It was a great time for all!

Of course on our way home, she decided to lay down in a mud puddle and get completely filthed up. Then we had to give her a bath, which was just pure torture for the poor animal. You know, clean water is poison to her... only muddy or green and stinky water is acceptable!

And since it seems Pumpkin never gets any blog time, here is a picture I took today. She got some window time today she seemed to enjoy. Doesn't she look cute?
