But we are putting forth a renewed effort to go to better Tuesday restaurants and it started last night.
We went to Flatbush Farm in Brooklyn. We have walked past this previously and noted how cute it looked, but saw some bad reviews. But, we figured we would just go see for ourselves (and I am sure glad we did). We ate out on the back patio which was perfect because the weather last night felt more like the beginning of fall. It was breezy and just plain gorgeous!

If you check out their website you will see that their food is organic and from local purveyors (Kingston got a shout out)! Doug got the vegetarian special: Cranberry and Bean Stew with Heirloom and fried green tomotoes. And I got Striped Bass with corn succotash and fava beans. They were both delicious! Doug has proclaimed this is favorite restaurant in NY so far! And we discussed all the people we know who would enjoy it, too. So, people, get your asses up here and let us take you out to dinner!
